Tesco Apologises After Tech Problems

Tesco had some major tech issues on Friday that stopped customers from using its website and app properly. This meant people couldn’t make changes to their online orders or use digital Clubcards to collect points or get discounts.
Lots of customers complained on social media, saying they couldn’t shop or access their accounts. Tesco said it was a software problem and has now been fixed. They apologised for the trouble.
The issues started around 2:00 pm and lasted for about two hours. Tesco didn’t say what caused the problem, but they made it clear it wasn’t a cyber attack.
Recently, other stores like M&S and the Co-op have also had tech troubles, but those were caused by hackers. Tesco’s situation seems to have been just a technical glitch.
